VICTORY TO VICTORY CHURCH WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL
Thursday, February 2 through Wednesday, February 8, 2012
Friend, our God is a forgiving merciful God. When you make a
mistake, you don’t have to hide it. When you do wrong, don’t run
away from God; run to God.
God has programmed you with everything you need for victory. That’s
why every day you can say things like, “I have what it takes. I am
more than a conqueror. I am intelligent; I am talented. I am
successful, I am attractive; I am an overcomer.” God put all those
things in your bloodline.
Train your mind to see the good. Be grateful for what you have and
get rid of any negative conditioned responses.
When you are doing the dishes, you can stand at the sink and
complain: “Nobody appreciates me, all I do is work around here.” Or
you can choose to hum a song of praise and thanks. It’s up to you.
The power in you is greater than your addictions. But you’ve got to
change your attitude. You’ve got to start saying, “I’m free.”
Declare that every day. Don’t talk about the way you are, talk about
the way you want to be.
When you live your life with excellence, going the extra mile,
nobody else may notice. It may seem as though you are not reaping
any of the benefits, but know this; in the bloodline being formed in
your DNA is fortitude, strength, and excellent spirit. It will be
passed down to future generations. You are making a difference.
Friend, please know your heavenly Father’s face is turned toward
you. The good news is that God’s face will always be turned toward
you, regardless of what you have done or where you have been or how
many mistakes you have made. He loves you and is turned in your
direction, looking for you.
